Jharkhand government has decided to stop students from Bihar at BIT Sindri. I am almuni of the institute myself. It use to be Bihar Institute of Technology. After division of state, it became Birsa institute of Technology.
It must be another bad news for students of Bihar. However, one person lose is other person's gain. More students from Jharkhand will get admitted.

Telegraph India has published the news - "Bihar’s debt has exceeded Rs 8 crore and Jharkhand may suffer a loss of another Rs 29 crore if it continues to admit Bihar students, chief minister Arjun Munda announced at a news conference here this evening. " Previously Jharkhand has stopped admission of students in prestigious Netarhat Public School and Indira Gandhi Awasiya Uchcha Vidyalaya in Hazaribagh.

For outsiders : Ranchi is Capital of Jharkhand. Nearest metro is Calcutta or Kolkata. To visit Ranchi most likely You will take a flight for Calcutta or Kolkata. Previously it was part of Bihar. They are still same people .Even now they marry (matrimonial) from other state.

Message for Visitors who are familiar wth Jharkhand and Bihar : We will soon launch matrimonial website. Bharat or Hindi matrimonial is too broad. Matrimonial service will target Bihar, Jharkhand and may be Calcutta(Bengal).
