National Games in Ranchi will inject 1800 flats in market
National Games 2008 is scheduled to happen between 1st Dec 2008 to 11th Dec 2008 in Ranchi and Jamshedpur. Most of the events will happen in Ranchi. A khelgaon (National Games Housing Complex) is being developed for this purpose in Bariyatu. 1800 housing units are being constructed in Bariyatu.
This may slowdown demand of flats developed by private builders. Worldwide economic meltdown may not be such a big factor as Ranchi doesn’t have much presence of private sector. It will be interesting to see how property market reacts after that.

For outsiders : Ranchi is Capital of Jharkhand. Nearest metro is Calcutta or Kolkata. To visit Ranchi most likely You will take a flight for Calcutta or Kolkata. Previously it was part of Bihar. They are still same people .Even now they marry (matrimonial) from other state.
Message for Visitors who are familiar wth Jharkhand and Bihar : We will soon launch matrimonial website. Bharat or Hindi matrimonial is too broad. Matrimonial service will target Bihar, Jharkhand and may be Calcutta(Bengal).
